For the first time, bubble gum reached the confectionary market in the twentieth century. In the year 1906, Peter Meijer and Frank Fleer of Fleer Chewing Gum Co, Philadelphia formulated the initial chewing gum. But, this chewing gum was very sticky to be chewed and couldn’t get place in the confectionary market. Later, Mr. Walter E Diemer came up with the genuine chewing gum in the year 1928. At that time, Diemer was the accountant in Fleer Chewing Gum Company, Philadelphia.
